‘Pretty worried about this’: Concerns continue to grow over Brisbane’s Olympic plans
Concerns are continuing to grow around Brisbane’s scaled-back 2032 Olympics plan as athletes hits out at the Queensland government.
A group of former Australian Olympic stars Sally Pearson, Leisel Jones and Grant Hackett criticised the fresh stadium plan, which has the ageing Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre as its centerpiece rather than a redeveloped Gabba or a new inner-city stadium.
I have to admit, I’m pretty worried about this,” Sam McClure said on Wide World of Sports.
