Richmond told to ‘read the room’ after latest Yze comments on Balta

Richmond has been urged to “read the room” following comments made by head coach Adem Yze on Wednesday afternoon.

The Tigers coach confirmed in his weekly press conference that Noah Balta is in the frame to make his return to the senior side, despite awaiting sentencing next week for an alleged assault in New South Wales last year.

3AW Afternoons host Shane McInnes said playing Balta would be a severe error of judgment from the club.

“It would be the dumbest thing Richmond could do (to play him),” he said on 3AW.

“Read the room.”
