Richo calls for the AFL to fix the stand rule ‘nonsense’
One of the biggest talking points from the Carlton-Hawthorn match on Saturday night was a controversial fifty-metre penalty paid after the umpire called play on, leading to a goal to Jack Ginnivan.
Matthew Richardson had his say on the stand rule, saying they must fix it and the AFL must admit they’ve “got it wrong”.
“At the end of the year, they must sit down and simplify this stand nonsense,” Richardson said on 3AW Football.
