Richo calls for umpires to use ‘common sense’ after Harry McKay incident
The Blues held on in a tight contest against Essendon on Sunday night, however the biggest story from the game was Carlton forward Harry McKay taking 41 seconds off the clock late in the game.
On 3AW Football, Matthew Richardson says the umpire needed to use “common sense”, with McKay over 70 metres away from goal.
“It was very unrealistic that he could make the distance,” Richardson said.
