Richo roasts ‘ridiculous’ Razor Ray review ruling

Matthew Richardson has Roasted a score review from Saturday night.

Sydney was denied a quick kick-in when Ray Chamberlain called for a review of a late Hawthorn behind, which had been called touched off the boot.

But what irked Richo the most was Razor Ray telling the goal umpire he had to review it because the call was touched, which was picked up by the Channel 7 mic.

“If that’s the rule, it’s an absolute nonsense,” Richo told 3AW Football on Sunday.

“We need a commonsense rule to come into play, because it’s just ridiculous.

“If it isn’t the rule, then it’s a big mistake by Ray.”

Hawthorn won the game – and consequently a double chance – by nine points.
