Richo’s left-field reason for the Perth teams’ advantage

Richo reckons the Dockers and Eagles have a hometown advantage.

But it has nothing to do with their new stadium.

Visiting teams will be staying in swanky accommodation near the ground, and Richo reckons it will be too easy for players to slip into “holiday mode”.

“The ground is out near the new Crown Towers, a luxury resort,” Richo told 3AW Football on Sunday.

“You’ve got the swimming pool there… there’s people having pina coladas.

“I swear you get into travel mode!”
