RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Victorian taxi drivers will spark traffic chaos in Melbourne next week.

They’re planning to block the Bolte Bridge in both directions from 8.30am on Monday.

The Rumour File revealed on Tuesday that it would be taking place, with drivers protesting the Victorian Government’s deregulation reform after the rise of ride-sharing services like Uber.

‘Lou the cabbie’, who shot to prominence with his brave actions during the Bourke Street tragedy, told Neil Mitchell drivers had reached breaking point.

‘We’re sorry we had to do this, but we have to do this,’ he said on 3AW.
