Rumour File: Former Beatle Paul McCartney coming to Melbourne

ANOTHER RUMOUR FILE (ALL BUT) CONFIRMED

On Monday Ross told The Rumour File Sir Paul McCartney is coming to the most liveable city.

Fast forward 24 hours, and today’s Herald Sun features a story reporting just that.

“Concert industry sources say The Beatles and Wings icon is close to locking in long-awaited Australian tour dates in November and December with promoter Michael Gudinski,” the HS reports.

It will be Sir Paul McCartney’s first Australian gig since cancelling a 2002 tour in the wake of the Bali bombings.
