Has former Magpie Dane Swan found a new club to call home?

Ross and John’s Rumour File was today told the Brownlow medalist is headed to the Essendon District Football league.

“A signature is already on the contract and, like himself, the ink is dry,” the caller said.

“The club is thrilled.”

In response to the rumour, Westmeadows, where Swan played junior football, didn’t confirm the signing but far from quashed it.

They said it was “too early” to make any announcements.

The Rumour File caller said Swan will play between six and eight matches.

Swan hasn’t committed to a club since retiring from AFL at the end of 2016.
