Sam McClure lifts lid on the ‘really interesting concept’ being considered by the AFL

Sam McClure has shed light on the concept of a ‘mid-season competition’ being considered by the AFL, which would be a radical shake-up of the current fixture.

The journalist broke the story in The Age today, and said it’s an idea which a lot of people won’t like, but stated it’s a “really interesting concept”.

“I think the AFL is being really creative here,” McClure said on Wide World of Sports.
