Sam McClure unpacks bombshell Nick Blakey trade story

Sam McClure has unpacked the bombshell trade story relating to Sydney Swans defender Nick Blakey.

The Age sports journalist reported the story, stating Blakey is set to try and leave the Swans during next month’s trade period.

“I think that they would be happy to see the back of him,” McClure said on Sports Today.

“There’d be 17 clubs falling over themselves to get Heeney, Warner and Blakey to play for them, I think the three of them are in the best 15 players in the game,” Matthew Lloyd said.

“This is becoming one of the most intriguing and potentially one of the messiest trade periods I’ve ever seen,” McClure added.
