A second set of rare twin joeys have been found and rescued from a roadside after their mum was hit by a car last night.

It follows news from The Rumour File last week, where an injured kangaroo was found at Doreen and twin joeys discovered in her pouch.

This morning Ross and John were told a kangaroo was hit in Kangaroo Ground last night, but the wildlife rescuers received a call from a distressed member of the public, who believed they had found one joey.

“Good on the person who called up who checked on the mother,” 3AW Breakfast was told.

“They thought a joey was in there, but then found another set of legs too.”

It’s believed the pair are about the same size as Andy and Zac, found last week.
