Shane McInnes slams ‘disrespectful’ comments towards Alastair Clarkson

North Melbourne’s slow start to season 2025 has put senior coach Alastair Clarkson under pressure, especially from the media.

On 3AW Football, Shane McInnes has slammed the negative commentary around Clarkson, saying it “borders on disrespectful”.

“What he’s got at North Melbourne, it deserves patience and he deserves the opportunity for success,” McInnes said.
