‘Slow and boring footy’: Jack Silvagni’s frank review of Carlton’s Round 1 win

Jack Silvagni has delivered his assessment of Carlton’s first two games of the season.

The injured Blue – who was part of 3AW Football’s coverage on Sunday afternoon – said the Blues wouldn’t have been pleased with their performance against Richmond on Thursday despite the victory.

“We played pretty slow and boring footy (against the Tigers),” he told 3AW.

Carlton will have the bye in Round 2 before returning to action on Good Friday against North Melbourne.
