St Kilda midfielder granted leave to focus on ‘personal health and wellbeing’
Zak Jones has taken a leave of absence.
St Kilda revealed the news on Friday afternoon.
The club said the midfielder was taking time to focus on his personal health and wellbeing.
“Zak’s welfare is the number one priority and he will be given as much time as he needs, with the full support of the club,” Simon Lethlean, Chief Operating Officer, said in a statement.
“On behalf of the Jones family, we request their privacy is respected at this time.”
At this stage, it’s unclear when Jones will return.
