Statue of much-loved Victorian restored after defacing

A famous statue of Molly Meldrum and his dog has been repaired after being defaced late last year.

3AW Breakfast has been sent photos of the restored statue on the back of a truck, presumably on the way back to its original Richmond home.

The statue, which was sprayed with red paint back in November, has been defaced twice in the last two years.
