‘That is embracing apathy’: Sam McClure tees off on Carlton over finals comments

Sam McClure has hit out at Carlton over recent comments from CEO Brian Cook and midfielder Adam Cerra, who both claimed it wouldn’t be a failure if the club didn’t make finals this year.

The Wide World of Sports host discussed where the club was at and the comments about finals with Matthew Lloyd on Monday night.

“That is embracing apathy, as if it were a virtue,” McClure said.
