‘That’s nasty’ | Rory Sloane’s latest injury sparks concern
Adelaide star Rory Sloane has re-injured his troublesome right foot.
And it’s rung alarm bells on Sportsday.
The Crows confirmed on Thursday their star midfielder had scans and consulted a surgeon following an “innocuous incident” during training.
He’s suffered a mild strain to the Lisfranc ligament.
“That’s really bad,” Gerard Healy said.
“That’s nasty.”
The Crows said he’d miss a fortnight before being reassessed, however, Gerard, Dwayne Russell and Leigh Matthews all agreed that may be optimistic, given the history of others suffering the injury.
