The advice Brendon Gale gave new Richmond CEO following handover

New Richmond CEO Shane Dunne says Brendon Gale has left him an “incredible legacy” to build on.

There’s a new era at the Tigers in 2025, with Gale departing to take up a new role as Tasmania CEO.

In an expansive in-studio chat with Jimmy Bartel, Dunne said he’s been told by the outgoing boss not to waver from his principles as the club embarks on a rebuild phase.

“(Brendon Gale) was incredible and he’s left an incredible legacy for the club,” he said on Wide World of Sports.

“His advice was just ‘be you’ – you’re smart enough and know what to do.”
