The AFL club fanbase Sam McClure admits he ‘doesn’t understand’

Sam McClure admits he “doesn’t understand” Melbourne fans after a lacklustre turnout for their season opening win against the Western Bulldogs at the MCG.

Only 48,103 fans turned out for the game, with Matthew Lloyd also labelling the turnout disappointing.

“I have to be honest about Melbourne fans, I don’t understand them,” McClure claimed.

“They’re the oldest club in the competition, I don’t understand where their members are.”
