The amount of time Matthew Lloyd wants to see Tom Lynch suspended for

Tom Lynch has been sent directly to the tribunal for his crude hit on Adelaide defender Jordon Butts.

The 32-year-old was charged with striking Butts, with his right hand making contact with Butts’ head.

Matthew Lloyd said he expected Lynch’s action would see him suspended for a month.

“He’s very fortunate he didn’t connect fully (with Jordon Butts)’ head – it saved him from getting an eight week suspension,” he said on 3AW Drive.

“But the action for me is deserving of four weeks.”
