Matthew Lloyd has stated Jake Stringer’s management should be looking to reach out to Brisbane to see if they’re interested in the Essendon forward.

Lloyd thinks the Lions need “another senior head” down in the forward line following Joe Daniher’s retirement, with Stringer seeking a longer contract than the one-year extension offer that’s been triggered in his contract with the Bombers.

“I think Brisbane can’t really go into next year thinking that (Eric) Hipwood and Logan Morris are the answer for them,” Lloyd said on 3AW Football’s trade podcast.
