The ’emotional attachment’ Tasmanian-born AFL players will have to return home
Collingwood star Jeremy Howe says they’ll be an “emotional attachment” for any Tasmanian-born AFL player in their prime to consider playing for the Devils when they enter the competition in 2028.
Howe, who was born in Hobart, told 3AW Football he would’ve considered his options to return home if he was younger.

“They’d definitely be an emotional attachment for sure,” he told 3AW.
“(If I was younger) it would definitely spark a conversation…it’s going to be set up really well.”
