The ‘exciting’ positive at Richmond despite mass injury crisis

Richmond coach Adem Yze says he’s excited to see the club’s next generation shine as they battle an injury crisis.

The Tigers’ lengthy injury list grew this week after Tim Taranto suffered a serious wrist injury at training, joining the likes of Tom Lynch, Dion Prestia and Noah Balta on the sidelines.

But Yze is looking at the positives and remained buyoed by the added opportunity that will be afforded to other players in the coming weeks.

“Through adversity you get opportunity,” he told 3AW Football.

“To be fair, some of the young players really deserve their spot in the side anyways.”
