The ‘fascinating position’ the AFL finds itself in according to Jimmy Bartel

Geelong great Jimmy Bartel says the AFL is in a “fascinating position” when it comes to its rules.

Bartel said there’s a “strange merging” at the moment in the league, both in the look of the game, but also protecting the game in the long run.

He also claimed the league is trying to “law make” its way out of the concussion issue.
