Essendon great Matthew Lloyd has taken a host of Geelong players to task over the club’s shocking start to the season.

The reigning premier is the only winless side left in the AFL after three rounds.

“Denis Pagan used to have a saying for his North Melbourne players – don’t let that medal around your neck strangle you, son, (and) I reckon some medals are strangling some Geelong players right now,” Lloydy said on 3AW’s Wide World Of Sports.
