The ‘insane’ amount a man was fined while watching local football game

A man has been fined an “insane” amount while watching a local football game in Mernda.

Liam parked on the grass near the ground to watch an under 12s game, and told Jacqui Felgate he’s determined not to pay the fine.

“I have never seen a fine so big when it comes to a parking fine,” the 3AW Drive host said.

“They need to spend their money better, if they’re charging that, the area is not up to scratch,” Liam said.
