The newspaper report that ‘really irked’ Patrick Dangerfield

Patrick Dangerfield admits he was left far from impressed by a report in the Geelong Advertiser that detailed his latest renovation plans.

Geelong great Cameron Ling asked Dangerfield if the report, which shared extensive design details and building plans, had “irritated” him.

“100 per cent,” Dangerfield said on 3AW Football.

“I’m all for open access, without a doubt, but to release personal information – attached to that were my own personal details, to which then I had phone calls because people had access to my email and phone number – it strikes a nerve.

“Considering how much we as a club do for the Geelong Advertiser and how much our players do … that really irked me.”
