The one thing Jon Anderson wants to see from James Hird if he gets the Essendon top job

3AW Breakfast sports reporter Jon Anderson had some interesting comments to make on James Hird and the Essendon head coaching job overall.

The one thing Anderson would like to see from Hird if the club legend got the top job, is to hire someone else from outside the club with extensive experience to come in and sit alongside him.

“He should be involved in that senior position in football and that is the perfect role for him,” Anderson said.

“He doesn’t aspire to be a senior coach ever again.”
