The pointed advice Jon Anderson has for Laura Kane

3AW Breakfast sports reporter Jon Anderson has some frank advice for AFL football boss Laura Kane, saying she has to become more definitive in the “harsh world” of top-level footy.

His comments come after Alastair Clarkson’s complaints about a comment Kane made about a potential rule change at the end of the season following Paul Curtis’ three-game suspension.

Ando said on 3AW Breakfast she had to choose her language carefully on hot-button issues.

“You can be as whip smart as you like – but AFL footy is a whole different world,” he said.

“That’s where she has to come up to speed, it’s a harsh world where she’s working, and she’s going to find that out this year.”
