The recruiting ‘radar’ that sits uncomfortably with Gerard Healy

Gerard Healy says he finds it “amazing” how open AFL clubs are when discussing Gold Coast players on their recruiting radar.

It comes after Adelaide’s list boss openly admitted the club would be interested in South Australian-raised duo Izak Rankine and Jack Lukosius when their contracts the Suns expired at the end of next season.

St Kilda chief Matt Finnis told 3AW earlier this year Ben King would “look good” in a St Kilda jumper.

“I don’t hear anybody from another club talking about players from anywhere else other than the Gold Coast about who is on their radar,” the Sportsday host said on 3AW.

“Nobody, for example, is talking about a Collingwood player who is on their radar.

“It’s borderline embarrassing, and disrespectful.”
