Gerard Healy has ripped into the rebound 50 statistic, describing it as “crap”.

He saw it used to describe a strength of an upcoming draft prospect this season.

“He’s a defender!? What else are you going to do with your kick other than kick it out of the backline?” Gerard said on 3AW.

“Rebound 50s are the greatest load of crap.”
