New Essendon captain Andrew McGrath has revealed the teammate he’ll be leaning on for pre-game speeches this year.

McGrath took over the captaincy from Zach Merrett in the off-season, and stated he still has a “really good relationship” with the former skipper.

But there’s another teammate who has a “quirky” pre-game superstition that gets the squad fired up!
