The three key areas the Blues failed against the Pies according to George Hewett

A dejected George Hewett has highlighted the three key areas Carlton failed against Collingwood on Friday night.

The Blues were soundly defeated by the Pies by 56 points to heap more misery on their season, and Hewett admitted the effort just wasn’t there against the ladder leaders.

“The last couple of weeks we’ve probably taken it to heart, which is fair enough, we’ve just been a bit down on confidence,” Hewett said on 3AW Football.

“Us boys, we just want to do him proud,” Hewett said about coach Michael Voss during the interview.
