The ‘very interesting’ thing about the AFL’s drug policy overhaul

Chief footy writer at The Age, Jake Niall, has unpacked the overhaul to the AFL’s illicit drug policy.

The journalist stated there’s three main changes, including one change that he finds “very interesting”.

“The AFL I think has gotten away with promoting the idea that it’s punitive a little bit out of the side of their mouth,” Mr Niall told Ross and Russ.

3AW Breakfast sports reporter Jon Anderson also reflected on the drug policy, and whether it’s been effective in stamping out drug use in the AFL since being implemented.
