The Victorian clubs ‘chasing hardest’ for Harley Reid’s signature

Cal Twomey has named the Victorian clubs that are “chasing hardest” for Harley Reid’s signature as he nears a decision on his future.

Reid is widely tipped to either sign a lucrative extension to stay at West Coast this year, or look to move back to Victoria ahead of next season.

Twomey told Wide World of Sports the race to win Reid’s signature is heating up, with West Coast offering an initial two-year extension, which would then trigger an unprecedented nine-year extension.

“This is new money and it’s real,” he said on Wide World of Sports.

“It’s going to cross over multiple collective bargaining agreements if he goes the distance on it, but that hasn’t stopped Victorian clubs from coming for him.”
