‘There was a lot going on’: Essendon ace on what led to lengthy contract extension

Essendon gun Zach Merrett admits there “was a lot going on” at Essendon at the end of last season.

But he said his preference was always to remain with the Bombers.

The midfield ace recently penned a six-year contract extension with the club.
