‘There’s no way known’ | Shaw slaps down rumoured contract offer

Tony Shaw says St Kilda would be foolish to offer Daniel Hannebery a five-year contract.

The Saints have been linked with the 28-year-old Sydney star.

Hannebery has been a shell of himself this season, however, many believe that’s due to injury.

Speaking on 3AW Football, Collingwood great Shaw said it would be a bad move for both club and player.

“There’s no way known,” Shaw said when asked about the rumoured contract.

“I think Dan Hannebery should finish his career  in Sydney and it might finish earlier than the five.”
