‘They cut us apart’: Xavier Duursma unpacks horror Hawks loss

It wasn’t the start to the season Essendon were hoping for, going down by 62 points to Hawthorn on Friday night.

Essendon’s Xavier Duursma joined 3AW Football post-game and unpacked their disappointing round 1 performance.

“They really cut us apart.. and we were a bit slow to react at times,”  Duursma said on 3AW Football.
