‘They’re back’: Radical climate group lets down tires in inner-city Melbourne street

Residents in Brunswick have woken up to the tyres on their cars being let down after the Tyre Extinguishers swept through their street.

3AW Breakfast producer, Emilia Fuller, says the group also let down hybrid cars and a Tesla.

“So it’s not to say that they’re being picky about what cars they’re putting the tyres down on,” she told Jacqui Felgate.

A good Samaritan has gone around to help reinflate the affected tyres.

Brandon says he was returning from getting a coffee when he realised the let down cars had been involved in a targeted attack.

“I decided to reschedule all my jobs for the day, and take my pump around, and reinflate people’s tyres who otherwise wouldn’t the means to do so,” he said.
