David Astbury didn’t take any notice of Chris Scott’s comments about Richmond.

Geelong’s coach had a bit to say about the Tigers after they beat the Cats on Friday night.

Scott said the Tigers are “beatable” and will need “a lot to go right” to win back-to-back flags.

“When you talk about the juggernauts of the competition of years gone by, you were just never in the game against them. I don’t see that,” Scott said.

But if Tiger defender Astbury is anything to go by, the comments may have fallen on deaf ears.

“No offence to you journos, but I don’t bury my head in the newspaper,” Astbury said.

“It’s just an opinion. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion.

“I think every team needs a lot to go right to win a premiership any year.”
