Toby Nankervis on becoming solo captain (and the impact of Adem Yze at Tigerland)

Richmond ruckman Toby Nankervis has opened up on how he is feeling as he prepares to lead the Tigers as a solo captain next season, after defender Dylan Grimes decided to step down as co-captain.

Nankervis also spoke on the influence new head coach Adem Yze has had at Tigerland, claiming he’s been a “breath of fresh air”.

The status of Tom Lynch was also a topic of conversation, after missing a large chunk of the 2023 season with a foot injury.
