Tom Elliott and Jacinta Allan go back-and-forth on federal funding for the Suburban Rail Loop

Tom Elliott and Jacinta Allan have gone back-and-forth on funding for the Suburban Rail Loop on 3AW this morning.

The 3AW Mornings host repeatedly asked the Premier if there has been a commitment by the federal government to help fund the project.

“We deserve our fair share of funding and Victorians want the Suburban Rail Loop,” Allan said to which Elliott responded “I don’t know about that”.

“I’m not going to play hypotheticals,” the Premier said.

The 3AW Mornings host also questioned the Premier on her recent decision to review the bail laws in Victoria, as well as talk about tomorrows by-election in Werribee and the big NFL announcement yesterday.
