Tom Elliott calls for helicopter ban following top cop’s flight to Tasmania

3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott says he thinks public officials shouldn’t be allowed to use helicopters.

His comments come after Victoria Police top cop Mike Bush apologised for taking a helicopter to Tasmania for a conference.

“There are plenty of commercial flights down there … a helicopter is about the most expensive way you could get down to Tasmania,” he said.
