Tom Elliott’s simple solution to resolve Tasmanian Stadium saga

The new stadium in Hobart continues to be a topic of discussion with many people questioning why the stadium has to have a roof.

3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott has a simple solution to resolve the Tasmanian Stadium saga that should “knock at least $200-300 million off the construction price. ”

“Still build a new stadium, just build one without a roof like pretty much every other AFL stadium in this country,” Elliott said on 3AW Football.

“If 75,000 of them last night in similarly cold conditions are happy to sit outside in the open at the MCG to watch a game, why do we need a domed stadium in Hobart.”
