Tom Mitchell has opened up on Thursday’s “crazy” ANZAC Day draw between Collingwood and Essendon, saying the match felt like a loss.

Joining 3AW Football in the special comments chair, the Collingwood on-baller says he and his teammates are as motivated as ever to defend their premiership.

“Thursday’s game was crazy,” Tom Mitchell said on 3AW Football.

“Having that deafening sound after a game where you’re not sure how to feel and the silence around the stadium, it felt like a loss to be honest.”
