Tom Mitchell signs long-term contract with Hawthorn

Tom Mitchell has extended his contract with Hawthorn.

Last year’s Brownlow medallist, who hasn’t played this year after suffering a shocking pre-season leg injury, will remain with the Hawks until at least the end of 2023.

He joined the club from Sydney at the end of 2016.

He’s won Hawthorn’s best and fairest award every season since.
