Tom Mitchell’s high praise for premiership coach McRae

Tom Mitchell has heaped praise on Collingwood premiership coach Craig McRae, saying he’s the “ideal modern day coach”.

Mitchell, who is continuing to recover from injury, said he knew from the moment he walked into the Pies that McRae was building a special environment.

“He’s probably the ideal modern day coach,” he told Shane McInnes on 3AW Football’s Saturday Sit Down.

“He genuine cares about everyone as a person.”
