Tom Morris sheds light on the big news out of Richmond and also Cam McCarthy’s death

It’s been a busy day in the football world, with Richmond CEO Brendon Gale set to depart the club at the end of the year to become the new Tasmanian team’s inaugural CEO.

Chief Football Reporter Nine News Tom Morris said Gale is an “iconic sports administrator in this country” and a “great get for Tasmanian football”.

There’s also been some tragic news from over in Western Australia, with former GWS and Fremantle football Cam McCarthy passing away at the age of 29.
