Tony Jones slams ‘farcical’ ARC controversy

Nine News reporter and 3AW personality, Tony Jones, has slammed the “farcical” ARC controversy that occurred in the AFL over the weekend.

It was a big talking point in both the Saints’ win over the Eagles, and the Kangaroos’ loss to the Giants, with incidents involving Rowan Marshall and Griffin Logue causing a big reaction from the public.

“What we saw yesterday was farcical,” Jones told Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings.

“The last thing the AFL needs at the moment is another controversy.

“If nothing is conclusive then get rid of it.”
